  We needed to have an old degrading walkway and stepped entryway removed. The wooden timbers used in support of the entryway were an issue that complicated the project. Russel Thorne at R & D Landscape spent considerable time with me discussing possible solutions before we decided on what would best suit our needs at a reasonable cost. He clearly had extensive knowledge of the kinds of high quality materials available that would offer a permanent replacement for the entire walkway and and entryway, and would also complement our house. I was even more impressed watching and interacting with the crew doing the work. They listened to my concerns and and through their experience, they knew exactly how to work through difficult areas during the construction. They were careful and precise and took pride in their work. They were also really nice guys and very considerate! Driveway and lawn areas that were affected were carefully restored when construction was finished. We now have a beautiful new walkway and entryway that enhances the look of our house and will be durable for many years to come.
